I think that its also to do with 3D and making it look viewable with 3D (I saw it in 2D, and don't have any evidence, I am just hypothesising). Although Avengers looked flawless, but wasn't filmed digitally… I dunno

Finally, as an Australian, I really feel that this is the best TV drama we have put out in a long time. With the amount of shit that we produce, this really stood out to me. Good to see its getting a well deserved score too.
