Brendan Canning put out a new album that is fantastic. I was hoping they'd review that as well, but at this point I doubt it
does AV Club still need that copy editor?
Sounds like this review was written by a fatty fat fat fattypants
Lady Gaga episode??
The animation is horrible now. too sterile and un-emotive. I much prefer the earlier animation style (between season 4-10ish)
I hate what this show has become. just look at the animation and listen to the voice acting. there's no soul in the Simpsons these days
Found myself laughing out loud surprisingly hard during this one. Loved the meta commentary and Mac being confused about the jizz drink
I'm still making my way through Smog's discog as well. my favorite so far is A River Ain't Too Much to Love, but it's more similar to his recent stuff (a good thing IMO, but perhaps not for some). Dongs of Sevotion and Red Apple Falls are pretty good too. definitely worth checking out is Sometimes I Wish We Were an…
I didn't understand this review at all, but the album is pretty good. My favorites so far are "The Sing", "Ride My Arrow", and "Winter Road". my only disappointment with it is the use of violin and slide guitar on "The Sing", only because they're so good but absent from most of the album after that song
Apocalypse, Dream River, Knock Knock, all amazing album art dude
#1. Mark Wahlberg. forced to live the rest of his life with the knowledge that he could have stopped 9/11
HOLY FUCK these episodes are ending at just the right moment
Keep it like a Secret was my intro to the band and is still probably my favorite album of theirs, but after having gone through their whole discography over the years, I've found that There is No Enemy is actually my second favorite of theirs. criminally overlooked for how great the songs, solos, and lyrics are
Candlejack called, he wants his meme ba
Also totally ignored the passing of John Graves, one of (if not the) best writers to ever come out of Texas
I <3 Huckabees too
Ed Helms always looks so punchable whenever he sings and/or plays an instrument
They're totally appropriating the folk image while writing basically mainstream pop music. this is really irritating to me because I deeply love the music that was there before, but now everyone associates it with this shit band
