Maybe it was just the hokey romantic music that played during all of the Daya/Bennett scenes. Totally unnecessary— we get it; they're into each other. In general, I thought the acting was strong (and the show was well-written) so I didn't understand their need to lean on music an emotional cue.

I just finished it and I loved it, but we can all agree that the score is horrendous, right?

Bummer.
