I liked him (and do like this interview) until I started seeing some of his Tweets pop up during the College Championship.

Todd is clearly the most articulate, most insightful television critic in the game.
To be fair, that geek at the bar was not exactly the male equivalent of Alex Daddario or Lili Simmons.
I thought that was more to show you how much taller Tuttle was (to cast suspicion on him for being the giant).
Here's how I interpreted it:
Simple Life premiered at the end of 2003…
Absolutely.
I don't really buy into the misogyny argument, but I spent too much time on that issue last week. Don't really want to rehash my argument.
How about teen pop phenom Lorde making a cameo in tonight's episode?
Best Day of My Life was a brilliant exercise in marketing, not music. Perfect song to get featured on soundtracks/commercials - and since it was catchy enough, it took off from there.
Surprised Imagine Dragons is still getting hate. I mean, sure, their recordings are somewhere on the spectrum between The Fray and Kings of Leon when it comes to bland, innocuous rock, but they absolutely killed it live at the Grammys (and on SNL, and on the AMAs, and on the MTV Europe Awards). That has to count for…
In fairness, I don't think the show is hiding the creepiness of Doug's fixation (not sure if you've reached "A Tale of Two Cities" yet, but that seals it). That said, I also don't think it's discouraging people from wanting them to get together.
As someone who found Kate Mara's character to be grating, I didn't hate the twist. And it DID reinforce the extent to which Underwood (and the show) is willing to do whatever is necessary. That said, unless the show is willing to remove the journalist element of its narrative, it seems like it could be short-sighted…
The intent was two fold:
As others have wrote, revenge was supposed to be the big motivation. Ruining Walker was, supposedly, more important than becoming president.
I actually thought the fact that Doug's *NEW* phone was a Blackberry was even more shocking.
Same thing I wrote above. I'm not so sure the show wants you to ascribe these things to luck. Plenty of their "failures" were part of the plan. And if something challenging truly did arise, the Underwoods were able to quickly adapt.
Not sure what you mean by "luck."
Not sure if I'm following your point - but Rachel was the prostitute with whom Russo was caught driving drunk.
I almost feel like I heard them say, in either the last or second to last episode, that the General ended up being convicted & sentenced. Maybe I misheard though.
