He gave the last two episodes good grades, and he seemed to thoroughly enjoy Asylum. If he's negatively biased against Ryan Murphy, it isn't unflinchingly evident in his reviews.

I can't necessarily disagree with any specific criticism in the review, but I do disagree with the lukewarm overall reaction. Ruxin's dialogue was so epic that I couldn't help but love this one (Andre also had some great lines).
I'm inclined to agree with most of this, but I lost a little bit of respect for her after she distanced herself from "Die Young" in the wake of the Newtown school shooting. If you want credit for being a songwriter rather than just a performer, you have to own the bad with the good.
In the Pineapple Incident, girls reacted to "Daddy's Home" the way they should have…
Tim Whatley, obviously.
A few ways to look at it:
Loved this episode, but how on earth do you script a Hammond Druthers phone call in 2013 without the line "I am the one who calls.."
Definitely me being an arrogant American to a degree, but I've always considered Australian/New Zealand humor "European style."
What?
It was a very good episode, but I feel like the "A" grade here is more of a season recognition award than an appropriate grade for this episode. No way this was better than the past two.
I love that they KNEW they struck gold with that pronunciation at the time of filming.
Lucy Punch!
Relegating Lucy Punch to a miniscule guest role subverted my expectations the way some of those recognizable one-offs on The Walking Dead have over the years. When I saw it was her at the table, I thought for sure she and Stuart were going to be involved in an episode-long storyline.
Someone here made an interesting point about the accents, though. If the prostitute were from France, she would have (I believe) historically been speaking French rather than English, so the show is already taking a liberty by having her speak English. At that point, the matter of which English accent she has kind…
— "This Bash/Lola development is brand spankin’ new, right? I’m not
opposed, especially if it means no down-the-middle love triangle with
Mary and his brother."
Earlier in the episode, someone made a comment about how the bow-and-arrow target/sack dummy was modeled after that figure who lurks around the castle. At the end, you see the same basic shape under the bed - except there are eyes visible through the sack.
Agree with praising her in the context of the Katy Perry costume.
It's funny, because Katy Perry HAS completely turned her image into a wholesome one. She still sings about drinking and partying, and she still shows off her cleavage at every opportunity, but for some reason, she DOES come off like a family-friendly girl next door.
So, Will, an adult teacher, suspends Marley, a teenage student, for not wearing a seashell bikini at school.
Unless this post was edited after you replied, @tikicobra very clearly says "Queenie should just get THE GIRL who can read minds." As in, Nan, not her.
