I'm actually a little bummed about this.  I talked a friend into watching the pilot with me while we were hungover, and it was absolutely hilarious.  Can't wait to get hammered and watch the other two episodes.

This album has no business being this good.  I'm stunned.  He hasn't put out an album even half this good in thirty years.

I mean obviously I was exaggerating a little, it wasn't THAT bad.

These comments are making me feel like a crazy person.  That was awful.  Throw a laughtrack in there and it was basically a Chuck Lorre sitcom.

But by season 5 or 6, I found the Office to be unbearable.

All of my worst fears have been realized.  Community is now just another mediocre NBC sitcom.

Jon Wurster had a drinking problem during Superchunk's heyday, and he's been sober for a number of years now…kinda puts a weird spin on this video.

RUN DMT wasn't nearly as entertaining live as their name would suggest.  I can only imagine that applies to every other band on this list as well.

These guys really are excellent.  One of the best live bands I've seen in quite some time.  There was an actual sense of danger to their sound that was nothing short of invigorating.  Can't wait to see how they follow up New Brigade.
