If only JVDB could play a fictionalized version of himself in his next show, rather than some "character" who's a gynecologist. Boo.
They're definitely mocking the title. If it was mocking the show, it'd be unnecessary and unwarranted, and it wouldn't have made sense.
I love Bunheads. I love the first three seasons of Gilmore Girls even more (minus the Jess stuff).
It's like they perceive it in soccer — it's a non-losing streak, rather than a "winning" streak. Still very magnificent.
Jane by Design?
FX is currently having all episodes streaming on all platforms (because they want to build the audience), except whatever episode constitutes the most recent one (because they want to protect ad $).
"Gus - don't be the B from Apartment 23 - you're better than that! We're all better than that! At least I think we are."
FUCK YEAH FUCKING GILMORE GIRLS *high fives everywhere*
So hot. Just couldn't act a lick.
Meh. I felt like this episode tried to be great by having that emotional element underpinning it, but it fell flat for me.
@Nanshi: Just make sure you skip the Chef Jeff fiasco (it's after the basketball plot line starts to settle).
FOX already has a huge gamut of games in its arsenal, unlike NBC Sports when they rebranded Versus. I think that's the reason why FS1 has a chance to be successful.
More importantly: Gilmore Girls reviews start tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!
I hope they can do a roundtable for some Cheers episodes, say the Season 6 premiere, or something along those lines.
Apparently Suburgatory's spoofing The Notebook: http://insidetv.ew.com/2013…
This episode was fabulous, and they've also introduced a bunch of potential storylines. Ellie and Andy finally going through conflict?
I know these articles are about "what's on tonight", but wish there was a shout-out for United-Real in 10 minutes.
There was a lot of press around LeClerc's accent when the show premiered. Apparently she listens to a lot of audiograms to hammer down the accent, and it's a conscious decision between her and the show's writers/Weiss for Daphne to have that accent.
Emmet's head is more square-shaped (think Emily Deschanel). That's how I remember the difference.
