So to sum it up @robothouse:
Pros:
Everything besides the relationships (although Rory and Dean are super cute in high school, and the show gives you reason to ship for Luke and Lorelai).

Part 1:
Mel: non-chelant, silly, slothfulBoo: underdog, sincere, kind, naive
Sasha: sarcastic, rebellious, scared, selfish
Ginny: vivacious, conspicuous

@JohnJohn: For the first few episodes of this winter season, I'd agree with you. But Michelle's drivers couldn't be more obvious over the past two episodes.

It's not. Still underwhelming and far too trope-ey.

@Byron: Great explanation. Although to be fair, Logan was a jerk more often than not after the boat incident (although that whole deal show-wise was more regrettable than not, although I know why it was done within the context of the show). But just not as bad as Jess when Rory was dating him, or Jason/Digger or

@vandermonde: I am very proud to say I watch Bunheads. If my friends chastise me, I say I know TV better than they do and have better tastes, and they can't contest that.

GG much?

I don't mean to offend with my comment, just an observation and an opinion. I think LeClerc does a fabulous job as Daphne, but the way they dress her — plus the hair — distracts me.

We're not really differing a lot in our respective views, but I see your second paragraph in a different light than you do.

I enjoyed Kirk much more than I did Taylor…

Part of me thinks Jeff might be heading to Yale instead of Harvard…

I agree with Boo being the most mature out of the group, but I disagree with your contention of Boo being on the pill being the reasoning behind being more mature than Sasha. Literally, I think this because it was Boo's mom's idea to get Boo on the bill, and Sasha's assumption wasn't unfounded.

I do appreciate that they're making Daphne very, very flawed; a few layers at a time. Such a 180 compared to the beginning of the series.

Typical ABC Family muck.

@stevelevets: Logan certainly deserves to be on the douchebag list, but I don't particularly hate the character, also because I enjoy Matt Czuchry's acting. I was also fine with Luke the character, since the will-they-won't-they with Lorelai took its time and was earned, per se.

Honestly, that last bit was probably more symbolic than practical, so I wouldn't make much of it.

Nice contribution.

You watch a lot of Little House on the Prairie reruns?

I'm Sasha's pretending to be an adult, Sasha's snarkiness, Mel's I don't care-ness, Ginny/Paris's (occasionally) talking bigger than I can handle, and Boo's general underdog-ness, and Truly's awesome quirkiness. And I try to be as cool as Michelle.
