If you have a Netflix account, go watch Season 1 Ep 3, I think it is. It'll play the international intro, IIRC.

I'd rather see a show accept what it is and naturally grow rather than be what it's not. This show's ruined whatever potential most of us saw in it in the beginning, and ex post facto it never really seemed like much outside of the Kaling name recognition.

Mindy Kaling isn't in the same league as this sort of stuff. Her show is hopeless, as it inevitably always was (I guess).

While I want this to happen so badly, I also don't want my sky-high perception of Winston to fall short of expectations.

It was sappy, but the way Kristina addressed Max was so wonderful. It gives me so much hope for a better day and cause that I am so personally-tied to.

So cynical! I don't think Parenthood is that show that's supposed to keep you surprised; it's really all so predictable, but in a great way, since we relate or sympathize with it so much.

I thought the fight scene was great, and I definitely think the break-up scene was "real" (for the most part).

I agree on both points. And they were trying to protect Haddie — nothing wrong with that. I'm sure they told Haddie about Kristina's health at some point, and they have good karma points going for them by sacrificing a pretty penny to send her to Cornell.
