Ryan's always going to be the lead, but when they truly make this an ensemble comedy and define the other characters, it'll be much better.

Suburgatory is an NBC Thursday-quality sitcom on ABC. I definitely agree that it teeters on the edge, but it's network material.

It would be a perfect fit on FX, as would B&K on what used to be NBC Thursdays.

It's not even so much the cross-over as it is the lack of retention from the DWTS to Happy Endings bridge. (I think this is a plausible explanation because HE has more total viewers than New Girl, meaning the show weirdly skews old, which could only happen if the DWTS audience stays on HE for a bit.)

B&K is doing much worse ratings-wise.

@Jammin: Or they could write off Lauren Graham completely, so she can be the next recurring actress on a show I don't care about (finally), like TAHM or something.

I would like to see this show succeed, but at this point I have the impression that both this show and Kaling are overrated. NBC was very smart to pass on this.

I know you're being sarcastic; but take away the sarcasm, and you speak the truth.

No, because even old people have better taste. Like Castle, and stuff.

Maybe I'm slanted because I really like The Good Wife, but Perry's casting as Krestiva is perfect for his acting demeanor. His character on Go On just doesn't hold that torch.
