"2. Snow alternating "women with weapons r grrrrrl power" and wet blanketing."

I think you mean The Lord's Kiss.

My MIL lived until 90 with Alzheimer's and she was diagnosed with it in her 70s.

Florida is warmer than California???

I don't believe in Jesus.

Loved this episode even more than the one from last week. To chime in with other commenters, Amy is so flawed and it's a joy to watch her navigate her way to a more meaningful life as she perceives it. She is still stunted in her growth, totally prepared to give up screwing the company over in favor of earning six

Don't forget Jerri Blank or all the female characters on Arrested Development! I love female anti-heroes!

Agreed. I actually found this episode to be the weakest, but I'm also in the camp that the Oh Hello guys are not very funny (I don't really like John Mulaney).

First time watching the show post-Harmon and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be (also great review of it). You hit it on the head about Britta - her character seemed the most off in this episode and the opening underwear tracking shot was one of the most off-putting scenes for me.

Sometimes when I read these reviews, I think of the Twain quote about explaining humor and how you end up killing it.

One of the best episodes of the entire series (and I also enjoyed this review).

Loved this episode.  I felt like I was watching the entire length of a 2-3 year relationship play out in a matter of 2 days. In the end, the man withholds and the woman overshares, and then pleads for the man to share, and then you take the trash out, and start all over again. I'm guessing that you could delve

Thank you. First time reading a review for Girls and I was completely amazed that there is such a discussion about Lena Dunham's body. Holy fuck.

After I realized he didn't have a heart attack, I wondered if the slowing down of the heart was to reflect the peace he felt when getting high, and how ultimately, he will never find anything else in life that puts him at such ease. (Note: I've never done coke before and I know it's supposed to speed you up, but his

Agreed about Luke Wilson! He is an underrated actor. In a weird way, this episode reminded me how great he was in Royal Tenenbaums.

Not the biggest fan of Girls, but I'm hoping it brings more viewers to Enlightened (the same way I hoped Boardwalk Empire brought more viewers to Treme last fall).

I feel like this show is less and less about "Keep Portland Weird" but more about what happens when a hipster/nerd/vegan/alternative/feminist grows up.

That band was soooo not Sleater-Kinney just because Carrie was propping up a guitar.

Completely agree. I didn't want to smack him, but i was pretty bored since I could see where the joke was going. I really want to like him since his roast jokes were funny and his twitter is genius. But this special was lacking.

Seriously, the most unbelievable conversation in this episode was Angel summing up how EASY it is to run a restaurant. "Ya just make some food, send it out, then clean up."  Obviously, it's way easier to run a restaurant than to run a nursery (Hannah must be planting stuff for a shitload of imaginary customers).
