I want to get Superman 205 now.
Sounds like the end of Frank Miller's Daredevil where he's barely hanging on in a fight against a brainwashed American soldier. Then the Avengers arrived and just by their actions and glimpses of their icons you can see they are gods that walk the earth.

I thought the ferry scene was spectacular because it wouldn't have mattered that Batman beat the Joker if the citizens had committed mass murder.
Normally superhero movie climaxes are punching really hard or remembering some vital clue and using it against the villain. Batman and the Joker's true battle was to affect

Funny stuff from last season, i'm being cagy about context because the show should really be watched
-the replacement husband attempting to longboard
-Robin Thicke blacking out (special guest appearance by Terry Crews!) and the morning after
-people insulting Boris by saying he's not an American citizen. His only reply

It's a satire of reality shows, and it's very well done. Queen of Jordan on 30 Rock is the only thing that compares to it I can think of but this is better.
Also, it's pretty hilarious that Robin Thicke got so famous because the conceit of the first season was that all of the guys were less famous that their spouses.

I thought that having the Governor's wife as the named partner (yes, no quid pro quo is a big thing but it's Chicago) was the bigger reason but Will being able to control her makes sense.
However, I take issue with your characterization of David Lee. He's direct with his hostility to other lawyers so you can tell he's

That's how fast paced this season is! The events of the last two episodes would be 35 episodes of any other show!

I've always wanted to see Montana.
(edit: argh, somebody already did this!)

Even better is the extended "the" that the businessman inserts before the product, so he's intentional being obtuse, not even offering Homer the name of the product to guess at its purpose.
"You're the genius that invented theeeeeee… product in question."
that was hilarious.

same! Krusty's exasperation and desperation with that line are hilarious

The best part was him completely ignoring the prestige of the ACE Awards. Nobody cared those awards apparently.

For me, that other project Inside for FX sounds sensationalistic so i'm not hopeful for this either.

flashlight is actually electric torch. Nobody uses a torch these days though so they shorten it to torch.
Actually makes sense to me, flashlight sounds like you're using a strobing light to find you way, that would annoying.

just wanted to say that I love Mxyzpixilated too. These recaps are great and it reminds me how hilarious the punchline to the robot building sequence was.

i thought that it was cool that the muslims were going on interstellar hajj. I always imagined that their hajj would end on earth with millions of people in full radioactive shielding suits circling around a bombed crater in a postapocalyptic wasteland. I thought that would be neat.

While an interesting theory wouldn't Edgar Wright had made it clearer that everything after the washroom scene was a fantasy? Those hints you've described aren't enough for idiots like me.
One of Simon Pegg's podcast interviews said that The World's End was the end of their manchild trilogy which i thought meant that

PAX is the premiere gamer's expo in North America now with PAX Prime in Seattle and PAX East in Boston.
I guess you go to E3 for announcements but for actually playing games, meeting people, and party atmosphere PAX is amazing.

i thought this was spike lee's twitter feed about django. That's the reason for the short sentences.

ah, but what colour was your trenchcoat?

The Doomsday Sanction, i know it's been happening for a while but it's so amazing to me that the U.S. government takes steps to protect itself based on the events of a parallel universe.
Also the Great Brain Robbery, evil head guy gets his moment to shine.

Maybe that was a deliberate decision to prevent from solving every situation singlehandedly? I'm remembering Task Force X when they run through his powers "Super strength, super speed, and he's a shapeshifter and he's telepathic".
At least they address J'onn's feelings later that makes his permanent position on the
