but what about the genius part about the gang to trying to get into the prom? see, they were too old to get in. which is funny, because usually shows are about the kids being too young to get in somewhere. in fact, That 70's Show had an episode like that. GENIUS I SAY.

I'm not sold on that yet. They made it appear as if Locke mentioning Eloise Hawking changed Ben's plans, but I'm also looking at it that Ben stopped Locke from suicide. And that somehow Locke being killed is okay to the island but suicide isn't. Or something.
