He really did. I saw the Coen Bros. last month at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis and Ethan told a great story about that. They shot the insert of Ben's hand and afterwards Mr. Gazzara says "Tell me boys, why am I drawing a dick?"

Rififi was one of the first Criterions that I ever bought. I always show it to friends who don't like foreign movies. They love it and then I try another and I've lost them again.
