As a parent of children born in the late 80's & early 90's, I really miss my exposure to "kid" stuff now that they're young adults.
Spongebob was brilliant, and special mention to Rocco's Modern World, Daria, and early Johnny Bravo, but I believe that all of these cartoons owe a huge debt to that anarchic, dadaist

I, too, enjoyed the Tracey Ullman Show in the 80's HOWEVER, here in Australia we got the English version, and some utterly humourless prick at the BBC had decreed that these slipshod cartoons were too American or something and so THEY EDITED THEM OUT! Kick Ass
Once again, because the film doesn't meet Mr. Phipps' lofty expectations, he pans it.
I know nothing of the comic book, but I thoroughly enjoyed this movie.
Yes, the lead is weak, and yes, it recycles many of the tropes from recent superhero films, but it was FUN. There's laugh's aplenty, and Chloe Moretz
