As a resident of Lake Wobegon, I take offense to the notion that Southern roots are somehow a measure of the quality of folk/bluegrass/old timey music.

Spoiler for aFfC I guess? The guys playing Reny and Gendry look enough alike for the BWOB run-in with Brienne to play well.
Either way, they best feature both songs prominently throughout the duration of the show, as they're both the most brought-up songs in the books.
I've very pleased with Gendry's casting. He also looks enough like the guy playing Renly to make the scenes with Brienne and the BwoB play very well.
Spoilers to book 4.
Eddie Izzard's "Cunning use of flags" bit is a brilliant, brilliant play on history and Western arrogance.
I'm really excited for this. But having read the book, I'm disappointed that they seem to be focusing on the GOP side. The best part of the book is its bulky, Hillary/Obama primary section, full of escalating bitterness and negativity, for largely irrational reasons on both sides.
