I concur. I was fairly drunk when I started watching and had a good supply of beer ready, but I couldn't get drunk fast enough for this piece of shit to get good on any scale whatsoever.

The best thing about the buzzkills?
Because of a 5-6 hour time difference the 'Friday Buzzkills' are my Saturday hangover companions. Nothing like that extra kick in the shins when you've already got a splitting headache and don't want to get out of bed.

Brilliant, I've been meaning to find something to start me on Gainsbourg but the volume of stuff out there is so overwhelming I couldn't really pick one out.

@VALIS: Nice, thanks for that. I think we get a bit of leeway in interpreting 'bete' since it means either 'stupid' or 'beast' depending on if you translate it as an adjective or a noun. Either way it goes very well with 'neuker'.

Ok… a german friend of mine thinks 'nuker' is slang for 'sex'. So, 'stupid sex'? Doesn't seem very offensive, but I suppose that when you're working phonetic jokes over three languages you have to settle for what you can get.

@vian: I heard the French part as 'bete', it's pretty much the same as 'stupid'.
