I know you're just messing around, but calling the Roman emperors and Alexander the Great "gay" makes about as much sense as calling them members of the Republican Party
Oh actually one thing I would have commented on — the neat casting irony of the Slav (Bronson) playing the English-speaking soldier and All-American Elizabeth Montgomery as the Russian-speaking soldier
I know it makes me a weak intellectual, but I really love when the reviewers essentially say everything that I would have
I'm actually not a huge fan of the film. Not to be the guy who comes in and is all like "It's *minor* Carol Reed," but if you want to watch one of his films other than The Third Man or (shudder) Oliver then I'd recommend going for The Fallen Idol
You didn't mention how Dane Cook's presence elevated the film
