You're right that I was wrong. I'll try not to incorrectly correct people from now on, and you'll try to remember how poorly text conveys tone, and we'll both make the internet (and world at large) a better place

I also just realized that, while I know grades are arbitrary blah blah blah, this means Mute got a higher grade than To Serve Man
Don't use the word "Uh…" like that then. Online, when used to introduce a correction, it signals "I'm being a douche"
It's pretty clear from context that the author means Matheson, but by all means be a douche about it
B+ for Mute? Jesus. I think the moment where the guy explains that "Love is the answer" is one of the series' nadirs
Thanks. I needed that
"Toothless" remake of 3:10 to Yuma? Were you there when Christian Bale revealed he lies to his kids about his war record and then dies? You know who else dies in that movie? Pretty much everyone the audience cares about other than the villain.
Does anyone else think that the lead in Valley of the Shadow looks and sounds like Kirk Douglas?
You guys got David Lynch on the phone…and asked him this?
I liked this movie, but had issues with Mare Winningham. She's not really presented as desirable in any way. Certainly not the type of person to die for after only a day of time together
Oh it was one of those "not-funny" jokes…cool.
"I doubt “The Changing Of The Guard” was much influenced by Mr. Holland’s Opus"
Speaking of "too generous," a C for Cavender is Coming!?
God The Dummy is so terrifying…Zach nailed this one
You know, the more I read about Community on this here website, the gladder I am that I never got into it. Everyone associated with it seems kinda…off
I'm glad Mike didn't leave in the Great A.V. Club Purge of 2013
I think so too.
The moment where Farraday folds his hand is the most moving in the episode to me. Reminds me of when Ebert said (in his review of Akeelah and the Bee IIRC) that it is not sadness that is emotional for him, but kindness.
I still think it's utterly ridiculous that Fahrenheit 9/11 won. I'm really liberal mind you, but I'm also a cinephile, and it just wasn't a very good movie. The Academy gets blasted for voting with its heart too often, but Cannes did the same in 2004
Oh God — The Gift next week! At least The Trade-Ins has some wonderful moments.
