If I remember correctly, the twinkle daddies label was a parody of a bunch of other goofy sub genres that were popping up everywhere. It's just another emo revival. It owes a considerable debt to that 90s midwest sound populated by the likes of the Kinsella brothers and Braid.

Zombie's Halloween 2 is kind of a weird viewing. There's so much to laugh at and it gets bogged down in Zombie's trademark trashiness. Also, the whole Loomis plot was terrible. On the other hand, there's some frightening imagery and a few suspenseful scenes(hospital dream sequence is what stands out).
