Yeah, and where is the anti-peanut butter bias in this article coming from?

    This Mortal Coil
Am I the only one who first heard these songs covered by This Mortal Coil? It tells you how obscure Big Star used to be when an American first hears their songs being covered by a 'supergroup' from a Scotch gothy record label. Still, I think their versions are pretty good, if a bit 80s-ized compared

Wasn't Jennifer Chambers Lynch the inspiration for the baby in Eraserhead?
I mean, her gestation, not her actual self. Still, could explain a lot.

Yeah, if he had any robot-balls he would take down all semitic groups. Got anything to say against Arabs, Slag-bot?

    Revenge of Turkmenistan

An amateur theologian uses a comic strip to illustrate the New Testament. A pro theologian can explain away the Holocaust by adding a footnote to the Song of Songs.

Damn, that was a tasty excerpt. Muy sabroso! I really need to know what led up to the suicide attempt. Which is frustrating, 'cause I don't have any time for books whose titles don't end with "in thirty days or less" or begin with "breaking the cycle of".

@ GH: Word. RIP, Rockwell's backup singer.

Black Bolt is the Bill Murray interview of this Marvel Universe.

I think other people have basically said this, but I'll say: the reason that a deus ex machina is an unsatisfying ending is because it makes all the plot twists meaningless. And it makes the holocaust at the beginning meaningless as well. If people are just the playthings of a divine being, all our choices are

I really loved that show, and I do not follow any of the other long-running series out there, because I just don't like investing that kind of thought and time. And I even thought that almost all of every season was good. The bad episodes were more than balanced out by the good.

This show had zilcho jokes. I also can't imagine it would make right wingers laugh, they prefer 'jokes' of the "Barack the magic negro song" variety.

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS IDEA! I AM IN LOVE WITH THE HOLOCAUST! I AM IN LOVE WITH THE PIZZA PIE!

As I stated before… (And not sure why my comment was deleted, as it was not base like others):
She seems like a learned and beauteous young lady. I wonder if her parents would consent to have me squire her around the park on Sunday, after church.

    Wow, That Was Unexpected
I liked their silly songs before, but it seems they've all grown up… and out. Why not an A? Just kidding, fuck the scores anyway.

The film version of "A Man for all seasons" features Hurt as a villainous court underling. It's kind of hard to believe this young dude with a 'stache is him… until you hear The Voice issuing forth. That man must've been born smoking a pack a day.

    And LaBoeuf! Take that, meat-boy!

I would call that band "The Evil Paul Reiser from Aliens is the Real Paul Reiser, Experience."

Oh yeah, let's see here… Mingus Dew.
