As a happily married man, I can see this. I've often said, only half jokingly, that living with my wife is the price I pay for having a wife. That's the danger of trying to pontificate on things via stand-up… a lot of it would be treated as embarrassing in any other forum (e.g. essentialist "men do a thing, women do another thing" stuff), and even the things that are potentially interesting suffer due to a variety of reasons. Ah — you see, I don't watch Louie. That's good to hear. I mean, either way I'm rooting for her, because I always want to see stand-up comics do well in acting.
