Thanks. Now I'm crying in my cubicle and need to go call my dad…
Or Bea Arthur's.
Thank Yeezus…
No love for "The Shroud of the Thwacker" by Chris Elliot of "Get a Life" and "There's Something About Mary"?
Thanks for the scoop. I'm actually familiar with Rockford as I have relatives that live in the Quad Cities.
"Leggero’s high-school experience in suburban Illinois…"
I think that's how most kids saw Wizards well before they probably should have. Ditto Watership Down.
I'm calling it: This is going to be the modern equivalent of the 1993 Super Mario Bros movie. It's just so far removed from the existing franchise that clearly no one has any idea what they're doing here.
I've seen it. And if it helps ease you into it, the whole thing feels very staged; almost like you're watching a play. The lighting, the acting, everything feels so artificial that it's actually very easy to dismiss and not really get too involved in the film. I will just about guarantee that what you're picturing…
I'd say that pretty concisely sums up the entire 50-year series. There are a handful of really good old Who episodes, but for the most part they're a hot mess.
For me, it's Big Bang Theory. I watched a few episodes in S1 and came away so annoyed with the whole thing that I haven't watched it since. I was in my mid-20s at the time, had some college under my belt, but no degree, I thought I wanted to be in advertising (but, again, no degree), I hadn't had a girlfriend since…
Sadly, "Hamnesty International" is probably the best Christmas gift I'll get this year…

If you buy the Storybook Deluxe app (I think it's iOS only), they have a mini version of Sugar Rush with three or four tracks and a bake-your-own kart feature. It's pretty fun and actually challenging on the Difficult setting.
