I'll second your opinion about night at the Museum. Sure, the plot is so paint-by-the-numbers obvious that you could probably cover the broadstrokes of it just by clicking links on tvtropes.com. But the CGI is done well enough without being obnoxious, there's a couple of decent jokes, and it's a less annoying kids…
