AmEx is easily the strictest of the credit card issuers, but when there's a lot of fraud going on all of the card issuers will come down on you pretty damn hard. I used to work in the collections department at a company that got put on probation by the card issuers becuase too many people were paying their bills

My father in law likes to tell a story about those rabbits. One day his dad got the whole family in a car and drove them out to a farm to pick up a rabbit. my father in law and his sister were super excited - until he thumped it over the head with a metal hammer. Turns out he forgot to tell the kids the rabbit was

That's the problem. You're making the argument that there aren't many episodes where the Sopranos people interact with anyone outside of 16 different categories of characters. That's a bit of a contradiction if the statement is intended to support the thesis that The Sopranos needs to let the mobsters loose in society

The "Clinton raped Juanita" guy sold out, man. Nowadays he's got anti-Obama signs, back in the day it was all about Clinton. nobody stays true to their roots these days…

I'll second your opinion about night at the Museum. Sure, the plot is so paint-by-the-numbers obvious that you could probably cover the broadstrokes of it just by clicking links on tvtropes.com. But the CGI is done well enough without being obnoxious, there's a couple of decent jokes, and it's a less annoying kids

I've got a theory about Ben Stiller (and this applies to Adam Sandler as well). he's better playing outrageous, ridiculous characters like Zoolander or the guy in Dodgeball. And the Anchor from the spanish channell in the gang fight scene in Anchorman is pretty funny as well (Como Estas, BEETCHES!). But when he plays

I don't know, I've been in lots of arguments, been hung up on, walked out on, etc. But generally the other person will at least give me SOMETHING to go on, beyond an a couple of unrelated insults. For example, if he said "I can't believe you'd act so damn slutty" and then walked out of the apartment, that's assholish

There's an old, closed-down Taco Bell on my way home from work that's had a Coming Soon: Spatula City sign on it for the about the last two years or so. My wife and I kept wondering why in the fuck anybody would open a store that sells only spatulas, and speculated that the absurdity of the idea was the reason why the

That works on Community, where we expect the show to jump into weird Genres for an episode at a time and then to go back to the "normal" reality (or another genre) the next week. or even a show like 30 rock, which spoofed telenovelas a while back as well. But when the show has thus far been presented as obtensibly

The scenes with the wife and fiance of the dead henchmen were included on the DVD. As DVD extras they're pretty damn funny, not sure how they would've fit into the movie itself.
