No problem. They just need to head to Cuba and steal back that 1 trillion dollar bill Castro stole from Monty Burns. Then find 71 more trillion dollar bills.

Nah, weeble's wobble but they don't go down.

Not only introspection, but most likely the admission that both reveiws are at least partly bullshit as well. As unfair as the poor reviews may be, the later positive reviews are likely to be just as skewed by the album in question's current reputation. The truth is somewhere in the middle. I mean, I love me some…

he picks one up from his house later, so it's likely that he doesn't.
Say what you will about her directing skills, and with all acknowledgement that The Godfather 3 had many, many more problems to Sofia Coppola, but as an acting performance, she's right up there wil Denise Richards in "The World is Not Enough" (which is my personal gold standard for crappy acting). Just like Richards,…
Do what Ian suggests (turn the volume up) and you won't make it past about 1 minute into the second track. that shit had me hooked the first time I listened to it, and that streaming it online at work, on crappy earbuds.
The "Think I'm in Love" Remix is awesome, and a great ending to the "Brother;s Gonna Work it Out" remix album.
Fucking kids these days with their damn dubstep. that shit wouldn't have flown back in the 90's. I'm glad the Brothers are keeping it real even after 15+ years.
that's a great album for people that find Daft Punk's music catchy but a bit off-putting. the live atmosphere really captures the energy of the music and smooths out some of the rough edges IMO.
I love FSOL, but I don't think they're what one would call a gateway. Their more ambient albums (dead Cities, Lifeforms, etc.) is the sort of stuff that makes people look at you funny when you play it for them. Not that I'm criticizing, FSOL is probably my second favorite electronic act behind the Chemical Brothers.…
If that picture didn't clue him in, he deserves what he gets…
I kinda liked it as well. I had read the horrible reviews and the rumors about the original pilot and was prepared to ignore it, but my wife wanted to watch it so we gave it a chance. And it did start out shitty, but it got quite a bit better just a couple of episodes in. The mascot scene in particular comes back to…
I think we can safely categorize the responses here to "people who work in cubicles" and "people who don't read AV Club at work". I'm right there with you in the former category. There are some days where I'll read a random review of something I'd never read/watch/play in a million years just becuase there's nothing…
