He pushed her whole body!

Another pretty so-so episode for me. I'd rewatched "Her Parents" a few minutes beforehand, which is a kinda similar-ish comedic bumming around in the tree house episode, and this felt quite dull in comparison. To be fair, "Her Parents" was always pretty strong, but still, I can't help but feel that the writing's being

The list of people who thought this was fun but not really one of the 'best episodes eva' is a pretty long list, bro.

Banana with melon… I wanna try some.

Try as I may, I can't help but feel a smidge of condescension for somebody who doesn't know how a freakin' car piston works… and I think having one's mind blown by that probably explains the discrepancy in ratings.

Totally.

It's bothersome because it's lazy inconsistency.

Yeahhh..? It was still in his stomach.

I found it really disappointing. For the first time in Season 5, every now and again Adventure Time has felt self-conscious, trying too hard to be funny, in contrast to the effortless cool of its first four seasons. I definitely felt that here, with a good share of cringey unfunny moments.

"John Lennon was literally never wrong" - nope, I'm pretty sure you pick up that award.

The Beatles did not release close to 25 "albums". Do at least the uttermost basic research before you try to write a review, Christ.

The one complaint I'd make about the animation is when (very rarely) they move the camera. They always do it at 4fps or something and it looks jerky and awful… no idea why, it's like they don't know how to use their animation software properly or something.

Well, I think LSP becoming a strong B-lister was more to do with the fact that it's lumpin' LSP, man!

Oh. I love the designs. The sausage thing is his jowl, if that helps. And the bulbous eyes are because he's a postapocalyptic mutant. If that helps.

What do you find ugly about it? I really struggle to understand this complaint.

Tree Trunks and LSP became regular supporting characters because they're women and Finn's relationship with them is interesting?

Don't worry it isn't just you, this is unfunny as fuck.

Yeah… man, I totally agree. Some people's emphasis on the whole complex character arc thing becomes patently silly when you remember the occasions on which this show has tried to do such an arc and then failed. If anything I'd say that's the show's main weakness, let alone its ideal focal point!

Actually… thinking about it, maybe this was supposed to directly follow from Puhoy?

I think the whole point of the episode was that life is not worth living if we don't project problems on to it.
