I like Margaery. She's hard to fathom; my best guess is that currently she's a bit like Varys, just trying to do the best for the realm by playing the game. But she's keeping her cards very close to her chest.

Good point.
Totally. The dragons are particularly impressive. Probably the most believable dragons I've seen anywhere in film… and this is for a TV show! They really seem indistinguishable from real life, and they were genuinely scary last episode.
I'm surprised anybody can tolerate her. I always think she's just a bullshitter and totally evil. In terms of people I absolutely cannot stand, she's probably beats Cersei, only pipped to the post by Joffrey.
Either point out the part where Sims called Tyrion a "hero", or admit that your hyperbole is encroaching upon the "basically just false" zone.
Thanks. Go away.
Sounds like you've fallen for her spells, too.
It's true. But I think a contradiction has always been softly brewing in the background; she combats slavery wherever she sees it, and yet her end goal is to rule over Westeros.
She said Davos asked for a demonstration (obviously as a temporary compromise). If something actually comes of it, I think he's still pretty much fucked.
By the way, I loved the set design of the wedding hall. I'm not much of a connoisseur of architecture, but I'm pretty sure they were channelling the bold horizontal stripes and the deep blue ceiling with golden stars found in Siena Cathedral:
Then again, the fact that such a criticism is even coherent is a point of praise for the show. In so many other shows, and certainly virtually any fantasy, it just doesn't make sense. Imagine somebody making the same complaint about The Doctor, or… Gandalf.
What do you mean by it being an expensive show? You realise they don't make the episodes out of charity..?
How on Earth can you root for Cersei over Margaery?
That's just what I thought. What Melissandre does seems much more akin to witchcraft. Claiming that you're channelling a modern God is just a clever way of giving it moral legitimacy. Yet what she's doing is clearly black and unholy. In fact, perhaps that's why she was so intrigued by the Brotherhood's apparent proof…
This could have been the first time I've actually cared about Stannis. Most of the time he's just such a damn bore. It was good to finally see some complexity and conflict in him.
I didn't realise that BMO invited the bikini babes over at the beginning, which makes it a bit more coherent.
The bikini babes running around… looked very amateurish. Like the one doing the rugby tackle, or the one rolling across the ground. Just looked bad.
Thought the animation was a low point this week, actually.
Animation was pretty poor.
Beginning was pretty excellent. Original, funny, classic Adventure Time stuff.
