What's funny to me is the hundreds of times I've probably watched that movie, it wasn't until a few years ago, I realized I hadn't watched it in like 5 years so I put in the movie and when he first shows up I was like "What the hell? He's German??"

@sarCCastro the same thing happened for me too. I have no idea why 7 year old me thought he was Asian, but it was one of those things that was so imprinted in my memory that it didn't even fix itself until relatively recently.
My favorite part is simply the look on his face when he gets back from the bathroom doing coke and peeks over Farrell's shoulder. Also as a non-fan of Harry Potter who's in a relationship with a HP fan, he made seeing most of the movies pretty enjoyable. I would love it if they gave him another movie where he could…
@ miller: I would have loved to see someone tackle "Roland.." or "Excitable Boy". Not likely to ever happen though.
I'll jump on the cream cheese and jelly sandwich bandwagon. I used to eat those after school all the time! Toasted bagel, one side cream cheese, one side jelly. Could be eaten separately or together. I also used to make a tortilla spread with butter, topped with cinnamon and then rolled up and nuked for like 15…
If car bombs are involved I'm definitely in.
my bad, it's stunt number 8.
Oh man, so many great scenes from Jackie Chan, now there's going to be a whole new generation of fans who're going to find his old stuff and have their minds completely blown. The rooftop scene is a great fight sequence, that movie is also one of the few that I went out of my way to show my mom, she actually got…
I think Fred Durst might be the only person that could make me feel sorry for a record exec at Warner.
The last time I tried to quit, I also started watching Band of Brothers. I think I made it like three episodes before I was smoking again.
He looks like a deranged Easter bunny.
"I CAN'T PUT MY ARMS DOWN!"
I definitely remember reading FMF, but don't remember many other kids reading it. The one that always seemed to be more of a deep cut or at least much lesser known ended up being my favorite in grade school, Danny the Champion of the World. His adult stories are great as well. My girlfriend came home with an Omnibus…
Yeah, I've used a few of these. The Curry one was probably my favorite because of it's ability to go into most chicken stir fries. Which by the way is awesome. Ever had a really creamy-thick peanut satay? The rest I wasn't all that impressed with give me the old crunchy JIF.
I should add that this really bugged me because I had always hoped she would come into the coffee shop and I could say something like "I really loved your garden" or "that mosaic fish sculpture by your pool house was really cool" just to see how she'd react.
A few years back when Sam Shepard and Jessica Lange lived in my home town, one of my friends was dating their daughter. Despite having been over at their house numerous times and living a a pretty small town, I only met Sam once while serving coffee to him at Caribou and never even saw, let alone met Jessica.
How come everyone always hates on maxwell? I've never thought it was a great song, but maybe because I associate it with really early memories (the few that I have) of the house I moved out of in kindergarden that I enjoy it. Yet I've never had as big of a problem with it as some people I know.
I love the Beatles, however they are about to start promoting a bunch of their albums at work, which means hearing a lot of the same songs over and over and over. Frankly, I'm a little terrified of them getting ruined with work association.
I'd like to meet his tailor.
@S. Jerusalem. No shit right?!! Jaa did that in like only 4 takes too. They had to bring in a second camera man to get the final shot. Everyone of my non-kung fu fan friends claimed that I had to see the alleyway scene in Oldboy because they said if I loved kung-fu movies I'd freak. The Protector has easily become my…
