Nero just rolls off the tongue though. It would go so well with his good white christians being persecuted angle.

So is this Card's way of saying that he's been impressed by Obama's work? What if all along he's been a Colbert-like satire character.
I couldn't help but laugh at his argument that gays are just predisposed addicts that keep falling off the wagon. I never could understand how any person that could write good sci-fi be so close minded.
Schwimmer is definitely the best actor. I will always laugh at the second break up after the beach
"I can't believe I got back together with you, we are so over!"
(Ross starts crying, switches to angry yelling) "It's fine by me!"
I remember watching the Stalin joke as a kid, but having no idea who that was at the time. Right over my head, I just grinned stupidly along with the audience laughter
Vassar shout out I hope?
Different show and scene, but Firefly finale with Jubal Early. The tonal shift when he used the word rape with Kaley was powerful and frightening. When movies like this use rape it's treated with the deference of a Call of Duty match with 13 year olds.
I honestly think that there is something deeply wrong with people that like Kick Ass 2.
That's really what's terrible about Cora. Her whole purpose was just so that Derrick would give his powers willingly to someone without dying. Boyd, Isaac, or Erica, who cares? Derek didn't. So they brought out another family member from death just for the trick, which is too bad, I think they could have made her fit…
The sacrifices definitely create a bit of TVD feel, with the new hellmouth tree making a bit of buffy in there. But I don't know some of those other character traits are really far removed from TVD, because this Scooby gang still has a moral compass and a lot of the times they do seem like lost kids. Also, the…
Yeah I'm reminded of Buffy leaving most of them off to the side, seeing only Willow and Xander's parents once, and never Cordelia's. And TVD just kept killing them off as a way to work around them. I like this way better
Scott is Buffy without the emotional heavy lifting or the snark, which as we can see is pretty dull
1. Isaac/Allison. I at least appreciate that this show's love triangle isn't going to be between the good guy/bad boy, but rather a classic Lancelot/King Arthur style.
I don't know, I thought she was extra terrible when she abandoned her friend's plight to protect the serial killer trying to marry her by dealing. And I still don't understand why she did that, considering the tense situation.
I feel bad for Maude, killing her off as a televised gimmick didn't do the show much good. Maybe a better option could have been her divorcing Ned, or questioning her faith, something to give her more character
and a 3x multiplier if she's a lesbian
Get it done Hollywood
Oh I don't know Carrie, that's an impressive username/comment synergy right there
(in the creepiest voice) "before anyone sugars anyone, if you two are dating you need to know that we have a strict policy in favor of that"
It'd be an interesting couple of episodes if Beacon Hills descended into a mad max-type dystopia because mama mccall and the sheriff have been missing for a single day.
