I thought going in for the kiss after someone confesses to being a love/sex addict and should probably be alone for a little while is a pretty shitty thing to do. But we knew Gus was crazy selfish already so why was I surprised?

I love the X-Files, but nothing in this revival has been essential. A few good small moment wrapped up in clunky overstuffed episodes. After Mulders magic mushroom trip last week, I can't say I have much faith in the shows direction from here forward.

Dream survivor gimmick: one big tribe of 20. School yard pick every challenge resulting in different mixes of people every reward and at tribal every week. No one sits out.

Monopoly sucks. This will not make it better or worse (though it can't get much worse…). It's a lateral sucky move for a sucky game that somehow has endured thanks to all the new ways they can repackage this sucky game.

This revival has been disappointing on the whole, but there are enough little moments that, I think, have made it worthwhile. Unfortunately, this episode had very few of those moments. I hated the weird trip and refuse to recognize it as "whimsical."

Totally. They could recast him and I probably wouldn't notice. Killing him in a supernatural way next week would work for me too!

Wow. I really hated this episode. But not entirely.

I thought I read they'd be back in this 6-episode event. Maybe as ghosts again, but I hope not.

whole-heartedly disagree. Alex is the not-so-secret weapon of this show!

Does anyone really care if the Angry Beavers are involved?

While I love The Thousand Year Door and Bowser's Inside Story, I am still completely burnt out from Dream Team. That game was so cumbersome. Sounds like this is more of the same. I won't be picking up another Mario & Luigi or Paper Mario RPG for a long time.

see you all at this years Rom-Com Con!

& that dance off at the end against hip hop santa.

So many lines from this show work in day to day context.

The fact that The X-Files is back is enough for me.

I definitely fall more towards the love end of the love/hate spectrum on DTNG. Melodramatic and cheesy fun - true television junk food.

Don't forget "Arcadia", "Home", "Triangle" & "Bad Blood."

Aquatic Ambience is pretty great, but Stickerbrush Symphony is simply amazing.

My relationship with The Venture Brothers has evolved over time. They are now absentee family members that pops in and out of my life only when it's convenient for them. I pause and make time for them. Cherish them, and treat them well. and just like that they talk off again. Say "see you soon" and we wait three year.

My biggest fear is The X-Files ends up just being ok (and I liked I Want to Believe).
