Even when she said "you should get some rest" and Jon just leaned back and closed his eyes? it was goofy.

This was true in hardhome though, right?
Mainly bc they were under the impression they wouldn't have to tie everything up based on broad strokes from GRRM - yet here we are.
There was a real missed opportunity for a great bottle episode on the island waiting it out for the Dragon to arrive.
While I think a little of the magic was missing from TYL - god damn if it didn't make me laugh my ass off - especially as it slowly unraveled sloppily at the end with stock footage, a called in cameo from David Hyde Pierce, camera angles not even trying to pretend like these folks are in the same space, and explaining…
What if they run into Hodor next week?
I was… underwhelmed by her exit to say the least. Meera could have been of some use in Winterfell - but there is not enough time to go around.
Wasn't Jon also a bit stubborn - to the point of being murdered by his men? Saying what he means/convincing others of something is not something Jon Snow can do very well. I agree Dany's flaws are on full display, but I think it's easy to see Jon as flawless in comparison because he's so singularly focused on the army…
I am surprised they all didn't just kneel given what they saw in the battle. But if it took roasting Sam's annoying family to remind them, so be it.
I was a little baffled that Bronn not only dragged Jamie up from the abyss but to the other side of the river complete with gold hand and armor - but then Bronn also had some direct communication with Tyrion to set up the meeting with Jamie. So I guess Bronn has super powers?
right? she's smarter than this BS. but maybe it will play out quickly - like everything else this season.
Which is why Ghost only gets to exist in dialog this season!
I am here for Littlefinger to go down at the hands of Arya - but I do not need this build up.
Jamie be dead though. RIght? No one swims with a gold hand and all that armor.
I was Splatoon-in most of the weekend and I really enjoyed the Queen of Thorns closing out this weeks GoT.
I guess you're right. I misspoke - I was hoping to see more of the magical/warg connection - specifically between Arya and Nymeria - and they cut it completely. Imagine had they thrown at least a wolfdream into all of her fumbling around blind in Bravos. That would have maybe (MAYBE) made some of that more bearable.
I am underwhelmed by all things Direwolf. I was led to believe these Direwolves were special. Maybe the show's decreased emphasis on warging is why it just never was established as well. Summer was consistently around and died valiantly for Bran - okay cool - but Greywind, Shaggy Dog, and Lady were all bummers. Now…
I think it was after the initial meeting/threat with Ramsay and it was cold and they had no food so for some reason roasting a child would help them win.
Editing and scene transitions should aid a narrative, not distract from it right? asking for a friend.
There is a lot wrong with this plan starting with R.L. Stine - who is objectively the worst.
