Yeah.  I'm with you.  This list focuses a bit more on the Melies side of things, but there's tons of stuff on youtube that looks like Lumiere shorts if they had shakier cameras.  It's something that find really charming.  I also love how gifs are a move back toward zoetrope aesthetics.
