This feature has the potential to be great, but they are really messing it up.  The animation often gives the joke away way too early, or the sound effects just take any enjoyment out of the act of storytelling.

Because I so frequently feel slighted when The Best Show doesn't get mentioned in these things, I will say:

No way, Tom holds himself to the highest standards.  He's not happy if he's not number 1, and that's why we love him.

I know people are hurting for money everywhere, but that includes artists.  Great art or performances cost money to make.  This is the cold economic truth that pirates love to forget, and that Louis CK seemed to be trying to make a case for.

That's not 'a part of the deal' and you know it.  He gave two downloads so that if your internet conked out in the first one, then you wouldn't have to complain about him ripping you off.  It gives you another chance to get it.

I'll never understand this weird argument of people trying to say that the Best Show is not a podcast.  A podcast should feel like a conversation.

The Best Show can have a bit of a learning curve before you realize exactly where the jokes are.  But once you do, you'll realize why fans are so rabid in their love of it.    I say find an episode with a guest that you like, and maybe it'll help you understand what's so amazing about the show.

I agree, Great Show Tom!  Let the hamsters be in the Best column.
