Around the midpoint of The Killing's first season, my roommate had started spending more time watching TV with me after I made him fall in love with Justified. I let all the recordings build up and eventually get automatically deleted because I just could bear the thought of subjecting him to something that needlessly

If you only liked comedies that made you laugh constantly for 20 minutes, you'd be missing out on some great shows. Louie is fantastic, partly because he doesn't feel the need to cram jokes into every minute of the show.

Could we get an AV Club Primer or Inventory or Gateway to Geekery on comedy podcasts? I want to start listening to some, but just choosing my favorite comedians won't work because there are so many.
