Agreed. Stanley really didn't seem that bad. The other designers were like "I can't believe he's yelling at Tu, but honestly he wasn't yelling at all. He stayed calm throughout, but when something was messed up he addressed it immediately and head on. Was he a dream boss? No, but he wasn't appalling either. Honestly,

@avclub-69654abecb35b122bd89c4eede68a966:disqus is exactly right. None of the others are out of her "league" at all except in the sense that a lot of people seem to see a slightly overweight woman and assume her "league" is basically nonexistent. Her other sexual encounters have been with an emotionally troubled (and

I have mixed feelings about it. I also would rather see the storyline go to a character I care about and Drew is such a dummy. But from a writer's standpoint I understand why they picked him.

Yeah, honestly it was hard for me to get as emotionally into the head shaving scene as I wanted to because the bald cap was so freaking obvious and terrible looking. Potter's acting was obviously great there but that stopped it from really connecting in an emotional way. Eyes were dry in my living room for a show that

The idea that "Saul thinks Brody's dead" is absolutely absurd. Carrie reappears like 24 hours after after she was supposed to die in that bomb explosion. You don't think Saul is going to be able to figure out that she was with Brody?

My biggest question: Why is allowing 98% of his cell to be captured a part of Nazir's plan? Doesn't he achieve all of the same things if he starts his plan at the "kidnap Carrie" part without the whole "Create a fake plot that Brody can help foil" part first?

My biggest question is what the heck this show is about. Todd says:

Here's the central question to me: Move on to what? If Brody had died at the end of last season (like I think he should have) you still have the makings of a reasonable show about the CIA dealing with the aftermath of an unparalleled attack on American soil. In the fallout from that Estes is going to get slammed,

I really feel like this show has reached a crossroads in a big picture sense. On the one hand I can't see how the show can possibly hope to go forward with Brody involved at all. Any conclusion to this season other than him dying or going to prison for the rest of his life would completely destroy the credibility of

Yeah, that's how I understood it too. Those lines of dialogue make no sense if that's the NYT article in question. And how does Nazir know where the VP keeps his special heart box thingie? Maybe it's important to keep it by the treadmill because that's where he exercises?

I thought this was very strange too, like weird enough that I paused the episode mid-way to ask my girlfriend about it. Given that they didn't make a point of Brody leaving part of that memory out I think we're supposed to assume he told them that part, and given that they didn't react I assumed it must mean that he

Jack_Torrace - In a way this hurts my suspension of disbelief more than the other things you bring up because it's not only non-sensical within the real world, but also internally inconsistent. I mean I assume the CIA would never let some random congressman into such a critical meeting, but I don't really know it, and
