As long as you don't take the game show aspect of it too seriously, this really is a pretty entertaining show. All the panelists were great this first week and produced more than enough laughs-out-loud for it to be worthwhile for me.
I seem to remember the third season of Nip/Tuck being somewhat scary, at least everything involving the Carver. The problem is just finding an episode that doesn't have a distracting B-story (or A-story if The Carver isn't featured). It's been a long time since I've seen it, but it might be worth including.
@avclub-ffffda8ada4827900cbf65fd20281080:disqus Haha I definitely read it as manatee idol as well. I laughed out loud at it, even.
You can still check it out on NPR First Listen. I haven't listened to it on Spotify to compare, but the quality seems pretty good:
I also got it!
I know of all the shows these guys have done, but haven't watched them. Because of this interview, I will go watch them all. Honestly, I don't know the last time I read an interview and laughed out loud.
I'm wondering if no review means maybe they see her playing AV Fest as a conflict of interest.
Wait, I answered my own question:
What the hell date is January, 28 1958 and why does it not say November 5, 1955?
I don't know, the population of Georgia is nearly 10 million. Even if there are a million survivors throughout the state, that's still 9 million undead to mow down.
Oh my god those deserve hatesong entries. Especially "Butterfly." Christ, that song is garbage. Shit guitar riff, shit lyrics, just plain musical shit. Might as well be a Black Eyed Peas song.
To this day, I can't hear that Tom Petty song without picturing Elliot tearing down and then taping back together that kitty poster in her room.
I think The Office will be remembered as a very entertaining and important piece of American television for all the reasons you said. However, I think it established that with its first five seasons alone. I watched the show live up to half-way through the eighth season and skipped the ninth, save for the finale. I…
I saw that, too. I was like, "I'll try. :,("
The fact that there are already over a thousand comments for this says something.
I was reluctant to listen to this after I heard 'Closer' too, but then I realized that the lead singles from their albums were often my least favorite. Specifically, 'Walking with a Ghost' and 'Back in Your Head.'
That segment was so great because it became so unpredictable. Even Nathan obviously had no idea that those few people would be so dedicated (but I love that he apparently had enough riddles to go on for some time). I don't throw the phrase "gripping television" around very often, but that segment was just that. The…
I'm just surprised it took the show this long to give Lassiter a dog and call it Lassie. Shows great restraint for a show that probably could have gotten away with it earlier.
He's been in at least three of Whedon's shows as the seems-nice-but-is-really-evil guy. He's great each time, too.
