Sweet! I get to make a difference without doing anything differently!

Can I still call it a boycott if I never watched the fuckin thing in the first place?

The Inane Pablum of Others is the name of my Pink Floyd cover band.

You have obviously never worked for a large corporation.

I think that's already happening in a big way. The eleven o clock news (old people tv) goes to twitter. The newspaper does. The NEWSPAPER.

While I see what you're getting at, I don't think any of those people actually know better, or they wouldn't do it.

Fifty/fifty. IMO, you can have an open world game without a compelling narrative (helps, actually) as long as traversal and controls are fun and there's neat things in the environment. I'm fine with being given a sandbox to go fuck off in as long as said fucking off is amusing. I still pop into my minecraft world and

yes, but WHITE PEOPLE DANCING TO INCONGRUOUS GANGSTER RAP FROM 25 YEARS AGO.

That's probably a good rule. I've given up on tv prettymuch altogether. There's just no time for dozens and dozens of hours of sitting and watching, especially when it's so often so unrewarding. I'm kinda suspicious of movies now too. I've left too many pissed off in the last couple of years.

Yeah… Every so often, it really bums me out and makes me feel like… like some kind of appreciation mechanic is just broken in my head. I dunno.

OUOKAAAAAY

Was totally along with tv girl until the end. That messed it up for me. I really thought it was going somewhere, but the artist out-weirded me.

I'm over 40, but I have to say, there isn't a lot that I can sit and watch and not be bored. The visual medium is just difficult for me, since so many things are standard, boilerplate, and take forever to resolve. I'm terrible with movies too. For example, everyone loved Arrival around here. I left at the reveal, as I

On the other hand, I've seen a lot of people here say that tv is "something they usually have on while doing something else."

Seems like every discussion of a TV comes around to, "you just need to make it through seasons 1-2! There's some can't miss eps in those! Worth it!" Isn't an American tv season like 24 fucking eps? How many hours of your life are you going to waste on shit entertainment?

Yep. I could go to the library and have my taxes done for free. And I will this year, because I'm poor as fuck and in school and am gonna take every motherfucking goddamn exemption I can, right down to the bus fare.

Good! We don't need any more! Ha ha!
I lived in FL for 30 years before I came out here. I'm a bit more cold-resistant than some, but I have to say that it's not that bad. There's rarely snow on the ground longer than a week, and not that many days below freezing. I mean, it ain't freakin Vermont.

The legal weed is great (srs, so great), but I could always get weed. Just not this conveniently. What really does it for me is the mountains and the 12% humidity.

I was gonna say "to hold a joint," but yours works too.

Look at some real numbers. World violence is down. More people get enough to eat. Things progress tiny bit by tiny bit. Violent crime is down like crazy since the 80s, even though reporting on it has exploded. Don't let the narrative set the message, because the people pushing the narrative have an interest in you
