As always, obligatory "These reviews are the best" comment. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading and reliving my Six Feet Under memories.I had a different interpretation of the scene at the wedding where Clare basically loses it. I felt like Clare had up until that point been bottling up all her (extremely valid)

I'd like to think that AVClub is self aware enough to know that these are the best reviews on the site, bar none. My only complaint is the fact that they stop for a while in between seasons, but maybe John needs time to recharge his special SFU analysis superpowers.

God, everyone should have a version of Bettina in their lives. That perfect sort of "cut through the bullshit" attitude is something I am trying to instil in myself on a daily basis. Possibly without the occasional kleptomaniac tendencies, although I'd happily let her get away it if I was some sort of security guard

Just gotta add my voice to the list of people praising these reviews. By far my favourite reviews on avclub, and i can't wait for the next batch. Can't wait for your thoughts on Perfect Circles especially! I can't help but think that that episode in particular will be a tough one to analyze.

Eileen describing how she didn't let Skinzo inside her until he was 16, "well not front doorsies anyway" is almost as horrific an image as The Neverending Pint. Amazingly, terrifyingly awful. But even that doesn't compare to some of the highs/lows of the second season. I love this show ;-)

Some amazing lines in this episode. "Which one's your mum? Wow… she ain't fucking all that is she?"
"It's weird seeing you sweat, when you're not eating a kebab."
And Louise doing the whole mock disgust thing at the bukkake, but then wonders if there is any more.

Hehe, Margaret does steal almost every scene she's in. It's that laugh/cackle. Love it. That bit in this episode where she has that little chuckle then a beat later just lunges at the woman in the car. "Hope you like herpes!"

SPOILER ALERT!

SPOILER ALERT!

It's been a little while since i thoroughly watched the show again, but is it actually ever implicitly confirmed that Nate is even the father of Maya?

Yeah Nate's seizure at the fast food joint really stayed with me. I can relate a little to Clare acting completely inappropriately. About 2 years ago my dad had a heart attack, i should stress he's ok now though on meds for it. We were all sat around eating dinner and my dad just keels over face first in his soup and
