I must be as square as Fran. Because when Hannah just left the bike out in the street right in front of where she lives, all I could think was, "Isn't that an easy way to get caught for stealing the bike?"

I felt really bad for the dog this week. He (she?) looked so wiggly and unhappy. At this point, I'd be happy to see him (her?) pee on Tascione!
I agree. But I also think it was a nice throw-out to us, the audience, for admiring Diane's necklace's all these years.
I'm a big fan of this show, bought every episode and watched weekly starting as soon as I found out it existed (one day after the release of the first one). I love C.K. and will watch anything that he puts out there.
Exactly! I thought I hated it, and the studio audience was legit awful. And a lot of the jokes were misses, especially the ones where the audience laughed so hard. But for some reason I stuck with it, and some of the jokes really land. Enough to make it worthwhile, and I also found myself truly caring about the…
I just finished up watching the first 10 episodes of The Ranch (Sam Elliott, Debra Winger, Ashton Kutcher …) on Netflix. It's not being reviewed here, but is really an interesting, surprisingly deep little show. And some of the lines land so well that it's absolutely totally worth watching, even when some of them…
I probably read the same thread, because I also started The Detectorists this week! I didn't finish it all up, but I do really enjoy it. The thread I was on, someone described watching it as being like taking a weekend in the English countryside. It really is, plus the quiet plotlines . . . I believe I'll watch one…
He was a real dick when he started marking up, in pen, Hannah's student's paper because he was so convinced that he was right and she was wrong.
The next couple of episodes, and also how they choose to end it next season. I don't even feel like I can comment on the show's intentions/how they view their characters, until there is closure.
Also how honest you are about it. I see myself and lots of other people I know in Hannah, sometimes. Yes, she does some awful things but also quite a lot of the time she's just doing a slightly exaggerated version of what people do. I think one of the best examples is the death of the mentor: Hannah is horrible…
That picture of Ray on the side of his coffee truck has to be one of my favorite things ever.
I agree. Him quitting was convenient as it would have been a lot more difficult for Michelle and Brett to work things out if she was working with David on a daily basis. But as a character, he did go to all the trouble to found the school, right? He shouldn't have just quit.
Seriously. Nobody does those things, right?
I mean, because if they do, then the world is a really different place than what I've been thinking it is.
If we do they'll have to kill us.
Didn't know what to do, exhausted from round-the-clock baby care, probably not thinking clearly and his general Laird-ness … I get Adam's anger and frustration, but really wouldn't expect anything different from Laird. I just wonder if Laird himself is coming back, ever?
(I haven't read all the comments yet; quite…
I always read the warnings carefully with this show. This one and Banshee, it's always useful to have a little bit of an idea of what is coming. (Pun not intended but noted.) This week there was no "nudity" in the opener, so I knew I could relax a little.
Thank You! For the confirmation and extra detail. Yes, I'd say that's clear enough.
I'm all about hating on title page spoilers, but yeah, Rebecca's death is from last week's show. Even I say the moratorium is over by then.
I thought there was a bedroom scene in season two where it was pretty clearly confirmed. Not graphically but possibly she was in his bedroom and had stripped down?
Well said. And I agree.
