It would have, that's true. But I was so pissed at Abby for betraying Olivia that I was happy to see Liv put her in her place just that fast. I watch this show for Liv, not for Abby.

I hated the kidnapping storyline with a passion. And yet, I'm glad they revisited it. Never liked that it seemed she was all messed up in the head for about 2 weeks, then magically "over it." This was a lot more realistic on how a trauma like that will come back at you again and again.
The length thing is crazy. I am about 5'7 and all of the jeans and other pants are still way too long. I have to buy "Short" ones or get them hemmed. That is ridiculous. I am taller than 80% of the women I run into in daily life. Who is wearing these pants????
I already realize that I hate Fran.
The kid thing bugs me especially in this show because they use it as a plot device whenever convenient — having to watch the kids and discovering that she's "good at it" (I think most of us would take issue with that assessment, but anywho …) is the ENTIRE BASIS of the Tina plot for the season. But when they want…
Honestly I am still a bit devastated by this show being over and by how it ended. It has taken me this long just to be ready to have anything to say. CK is the one artist who almost always speaks to me profoundly. Not sure this means anything good for my average mental state.
When he had that tantrum about her not interrupting him I am pretty sure I said "Oh. My. God." out loud and probably also rolled my eyes at him,
The first two or three minutes of this episode had to be up there with the funniest this show has ever been: "As if Mrs. Piggle Wiggle married the guy from Reading Rainbow." And all of those quoted comments about the other teachers. And culminating with "It's about to be summer!"
It's worth watching because there isn't a lot else going on midweek right now. It's no Justified and, I think, never will be. But I am a fan of Michael K. Williams and the show is enough "in genre" to be entertaining.
I enjoy them both. They are nothing alike. Thank you for making me laugh!
I don't think you have to worry about anything getting TOO "real" on this show.
That said, I do believe it'll be a plot arc for the remainder of the season. But real shouldn't be much of an issue!
Now I've seen everything!
Oh but I'm not saying that just because I'm angry at Brett means that I think Michelle deserves the free pass she was angling for. She's been a selfish, insensitive person this whole time. I thought the way she dumped David was really insensitive as well. He had real feelings, and all she cared about was how her own…
Thank You! If she says yes, five "hours" out from the end, then I will be seriously bummed. Why the fuck would she still care at all about Peter???
What children?
It's really hard for me to tell. I enjoy the genre and it usually speaks to me, though I can totally understand if there are lots of folks who aren't as interested in wallowing in the misery that being an adult in this current world can be. Sad-coms ("married" or "single", doesn't matter) are my thing, and I'll…
I'm still really angry at Brett for his ridiculous statement about how they could handle anything as a couple (stupid thing to think and stupid of Michelle to believe him, but still — he said it, he should at least attempt to stand by it) and then when "anything" comes along he immediately bails.
Not just gets angry…
True. Words are Louis' stock-in-trade, so I think you are right. I also think, practically speaking, Tricia needed to have a mental illness that would be obvious to us but also managed well enough that she could have been released from the hospital. Most other things, she'd have to have just walked into the bar and…
I started watching You, Me and the Apocalypse this weekend. I'm wishing I hadn't waited so long, because then I could be caught up with the reviews, but I'm really enjoying it. It's a lot of fun, and the story is compelling. Plus, there's something very appropriate about starting this series on Easter weekend.
I noticed that. I decided to forgive it because the line was such a good one. But yes, he had just said that Chip had ruined "their buttocks" a couple weeks ago!
I'm willing, however, to just go with the flow — I'll treat it like how Louis randomly has the same actress play his mom and a girlfriend. But man do I…
