The pan to the rest of the room after that, showing that ancient sewing machine along with all of the clutter, was extremely well done. I could just see Ed's mother sewing on that machine.

There was also a quote that I can't remember exactly, ended with "A Serious Man" as a comparison point.
Right. He's not much of a catch, after all, is he?
I forgot Wes too.
I don't understand why I keep watching either, lol. And every time (okay, hundreds of times ….) someone asks a logical question for which there is no logical answer within the show, I wonder even more. I hate watch at least half of almost every episode. And yet I cannot look away ….
Exactly. She is in just as much danger whether married to him or not. But without the technicality, there's no Olivia-let-Rowan-out plot. So: television.
I did not catch that it was Tom who got killed, either. I blame my tiny Kindle screen, but he is one of the most generic-looking characters on this show.
Rosen and Susan. The only two characters who aren't murderers. It's why they are meant for each other!
If only Oliver had closed the fridge, they could have avoided the whole close call with Nate calling the precinct …
It's so much harder to tell that your boyfriend's been abducted if the fridge is closed.
Regarding Nate and Annalise: Nate's always been honest, right? And I
think Annalise's view of herself (the self-loathing belief that she is
damaged and hurts everyone she touches) depends also on a belief that
there are honest, innocent, good people out there for her to hurt. And

Creepy Murder Paintings, I think someone said.
I don't disagree at all. I think the fact that Lindsay knew all about it and that Gretchen had a name for it lead to those conclusions. I just wish they would clarify a bit. Actually … I truly believe they will, if we just wait. You know — I thought, exactly, that Gretchen had been through tons of therapy and…
I realize I left out Edgar in my comments. But I think of him not having the confidence to believe that he should be giving anyone mental health advice. Also he'd figure Gretchen wouldn't listen to him anyway. Combined with zero knowledge of her history, I can see why he would not jump right in there.
I want them to mention treatment just for clarification … for us. (Obviously, we need it!) If it doesn't get mentioned on camera, we have no way of knowing what she has or hasn't done in the past or even the present, really. At this point, from an audience perspective, it's like elephant-in-the-room level absent.
Quite possibly, one out of every 16 people on here watch NCIS.
Upvoted for the reference. I appreciate the show.
I guess this made him worry about the country because people had yet to go ballistic over a red holiday coffee cup.
I think we have to keep in mind what we know about Gretchen's maturity level, coping skills and behavior before we knew she suffered from depression. I'd be really surprised if she'd tried ANY of the healthy things people do to combat it.
I don't know why whom is even a word, if we can never use it!
