Fair enough, I definitely gave it a bunch of listens back when it came out, maybe it's time for a revisit.
Conditioner is a weird one.  ODB was in jail at the time, right?  Didn't they record his part over the phone, or am I mis-remembering?

Holy hell, souse chef.  My morbid curiosity hopes you'll write an extended post about your experience.  I always assumed his victims were a totally random group, did you all go to the same school or something?

You might be.  There are some good tracks, like Ghost and RZA almost coming to tears on 'I can't go to sleep,' and Protect Ya Neck (The Jump Off) is good.  But as a whole I find it a bit uneven.

Definitely.  Make an iTunes playlist and it's easy to create a great version of 'Forever'.  Here's a good start: Yes to 'Hells Wind Staff'.  No to 'Black Shampoo.'

Of course if the DJ is a pivotal part of the group, like in Run DMC or Gang Starr then ya, a live DJ can be awesome.  But Wu Tang doesn't have a 'true' DJ, so a guy just putting the needle down and yelling is waaaaay worse than a backing band.  Whether it's the 'real' way or not…

Ghostface is definitely like that, GZA not so much, at least when I saw him.  If you get a chance, do go and see RZA live.  I saw him a few years back and he had an honest to god band with him and it was beyond awesome.

Nah, GZA's a stand up guy.  He showed up, but I bet he was waaaaaay late.

Pretty cool list.  And nothing puts me in the holiday spirit like Mayhem: De Mysteriis Dom Sathans.  Well, maybe Dawn of the Black Hearts.

I still can't see a road sign for London without thinking 'Nodnol.'

What about the middle-aged, millionaire guitarist with a chin fattened up from a life of comfort and ease?  He says quite a lot too.

Especially coming from a group of guys who are most definitely high-net-worth.
