Pawnee
The praise of P & R as having such a thoroughly developed setting and "town-identity" seems overstated. The town-hall-meeting-scenes seem to create humor by having various speakers make unrelated points (non-sequitors). There's never a clear sense of how the town would react to this or that.
A more effective

The similarities between the Great Gazoo and Stewie and Fred and Peter and Lois and Wilma seem obvious now.

I enjoyed the film, but I feel uncomfortable with an animated series.

Jim and Pam
I liked Jim and Pam in this. It seems like their role as smirking straight-men has disappeared without Michael, and they seemed visibly anxious without that clear role to play. I would be interested to see how they interact with a level-headed boss.

I don't think his life is "falling to shambles." I think he is having some fun.

I studied English. I worked at Borders. I teach now. I shop at Barnes and Noble.

But now the Best Animated Film category seems superfluous. Maybe they should have a Best Non-Pixar Animated Film category.

I would like to apply for editor. Here is an example of the kind of improvement I would bring: Maybe things that touch on different genres (AV Q&A or The Tolerability Index) could be indexed as "misc." instead of "books" or "tv" etc.

Dang it. I wasted my Haggard the Horrible joke in another thread. The Quirk beat me to it anyways…

Haggard the Horrible.

I saw Haggard on Jesus Camp. He was an ass.

I don't think that's what they meant by "plausible."

I think people like it because it has social relevancy and nuanced characters.

I'm not a fan of this at all.

People with accents can have an awareness of irony, too.

Let's talk about the Glee GQ spread. I feel it was objectionable because the photos depicted the girls dressed as high schoolers—wearing cheerleading outfits and letterman's jackets etc. They were meant to depict teenagers even in the racy photo shoot. Is this wrong? Discuss.
