Those stories reminded me a bit of The Dark Knight. The Joker doesn't reveal quite as much about himself as Garak does here (and Garak doesn't give away much at all), but both stories revolve around one bad day, just as Zack points out that Garak's explanations of himself all point to an error in judgment on his part.…

@avclub-d980b15d49101608dc407770f35b1d75:disqus, the brilliant Gotham Central had a character who was a contract employee whose duties included turning on the Batsignal because it was illegal for people who get a city paycheck to do so. I don't know whether that would hold with a judge for real (I doubt it), but it…

Purdue was in the mix in that scene, too. And later this season (maybe next episode?) Bruno makes an off-hand reference to a Purdue fencing team, which made me shoot straight up in my seat because I was a Purdue fencer, you guys. It's a club sport there, but the line works either way.

Wouldn't a "Rockwell Files" theme just be an edited down version of "Somebody's Watching Me"?

I didn't like it at all at first, but it grew on me. Really, I was kind of iffy on the whole show until Wash and his dinosaurs. It was love from that point forward.

Interesting. I feel like the answer is no, because he's got Harmony feeding him information, which would be rendered redundant if he could see through the trick. I do like that shot of him evaluating the team at each others' throat.
