Susan agrees!  Your job is saved!

As you slowly scroll down the comments section of the Point Horror article on the AV Club, you get a begin to get the feeling that there is someone, or something, behind you.  As peer into the reflection created by the black sidebars on this page, you notice SUSAN FROM H.R. IS MOVING TOWARD YOUR CUBICLE!!!

Tangled Up in Boooooooooooooooooo!

Well, what did she say when they tried to get her to go to rehab?

I'm not on the payroll of this band, but you guys really should check out Dawes.

Ok. You win.

I was being sincere. I admire when people have convictions.  But now I'm bored.  I'm not tacking a third "lose" into this lose/lose argument we've been having.  Best of luck to you. You're a gentleman and a scholar.

Technicality!  (I realized after posting, but thought it would be worse to edit. Many years ago, I was an English major.  Thus, my avatar; and thus my post about how I used to be a bleeding heart liberal.)

I accept the concede.

Okay @avclub-af673845f13bb81d03dae5a68e37c4d7:disqus I'm just a dude on a pop culture comment section who felt like venting and started what may possibly be the most ridiculous thread on this site ever.  But, the problems, as I see them, are the things people don't want to talk about. I could rattle off where I think

Hi @avclub-af673845f13bb81d03dae5a68e37c4d7:disqus .  My aunt lives in Canada.  She got put on a waiting list for a surgery because of the "universal health care" there and had to swing into America to have the surgery done or she may not have made it (true story).  But I digress; I don't give a fuck about Canada.

Ha! Good point.  I actually "liked" your comment.  That last sentence did skew a little tacky.

Okay @avclub-af673845f13bb81d03dae5a68e37c4d7:disqus I'll have to try this "reading."  I see on Amazon two books telling me what's wrong with America.  One is by Rush Limbough and one is by Naomi Klein.  Since reading seems to be such an objective way of learning, I'm sure I'll find the same information in both books.

A: I could care less what it's like in other countries.  I live here.  They can start their own Occupy movements for all I care.

All good points.  Especially about there not being easy answers to complex solutions.  I don't mean to oversimplify, and I recognize not everyone lands on Boardwalk, let alone starts on GO.  I just hate to see the attitude shift too much the other way, which is a society of victims and blame.

@avclub-af673845f13bb81d03dae5a68e37c4d7:disqus You seem very knowledgeable about this.  How long were you in banking?

I'll assume you were alive during those decades and not just spouting bar room rhetoric.

Hey, I said I could be wrong.  I'll retract the phrasing, and will instead go with "complaining".  No good?

Good points, IsAGirl, and I didn't mean to prejudge that you don't work hard.  You are where you are because of your choices, unless you believe that it is impossible to be successful with your chosen level and field of education (in which case, why did you choose it?).  If you're unhappy with your choices, you need

I believe they received those bonuses by whining at protest rallies, but I could be wrong.
