"If there’s one thing Americans aren’t burned-out on, it’s state primaries." I'm pretty sure I was burned out from them years ago.

…I'm learning my lesson as to why you gave up Last Man Standing. I don't blame you if you gave this one up, Todd.
Yeah but three years of Modern Family have taught me that the producers/showrunners probably don't really care.
"but why not just put one of those additional five scripts ABC ordered back in November into production?" Because that costs money, money ABC clearly does not wish to spend.
The best write-up that Todd wrote was the one where he wrote about 2 Broke Girls and himself.
I actually have somewhat of a personal story to tell about Phil Hendrie, though it's probably not even as exciting as Jay's encounter. But Phil Hendrie almost got me killed - because the first time I heard him I was laughing so hard I nearly drove straight into a concrete wall.
It's funny that House is such an awful person (supposedly) because have you noticed for the most part everyone but House is an awful character? Adams pretty much existed in this episode solely to play Ms. Goody Two-Shoes and Park was pretty much the episode's butt monkey. Taub pretty much existed just for the prank…
It's called "the writers use whatever sounds good that time."
David Cross' handful of guest spots on Just Shoot Me! were the best parts of that series.
Also I want to say PHIL HENDRIE!
Thanks guys, you've made me not feel old.
I wonder how family experiences (or lack thereof) effect the enjoyment of this show, given how it's so family-centric.
Exactly.
C-C-C-C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!
"
I’d have liked to learn more about how she’s adjusting to her new life, but perhaps she’ll get figured into the narrative later." She's apparently Tebowing in order to save a family tree.
Axl's "Shrugs" are pretty funny to me too.
Absolutely agreed.
At least as far as I can remember, the message really was "sex is only for marriage" unless you wanted to push the envelope, in which case most shows just went completely in the opposite direction. As I've said, I think "sex should be meaningful" is at least a nice compromise and reasonable.
Yeah, that's certainly something people have been picking up on, whether the show intends it or not.
…your mother was weird.
