I enjoyed the episode but one thing bugged me. The creepy business suit goes through all this trouble to stage a perfect crime to kill his wife then just goes over to shoot the care taker? His whole plan for getting away with it was "really cleaning up the place"?

I found Geezer Bob really irritating for a guy who never actually shows up on screen. Just hit me as a really terrible name for something not in the canon. The writers couldn't come up with anything better than "Geezer Bob"?

yes. everything @tanzinaahmed:disqus just said.

Mycroft calling the US "the colonies" was nice. I also really liked JLM's line that "London is always different".

"Mycroft to run down his recent medical history with Jane"

In preparation for the start of this season I went back and watched season one, and other than the [SPOILER] Irene = Moriarty [END SPOILER] stuff which made no sense (to me) the first time and did not improve on second viewing, the show was just as good the second time around. I've rewatched seasons one and two of

Was I the only one to rewind that scene a few times?

More interesting than Gregson and Bell? Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I think you're nuts. I thought the Lestrade casting was spot on but the character wasn't particularly interesting. As for Mycroft, at least for the moment, he seems to be exactly who Sherlock says he is, a bit of a fop. Hopefully in the

I had forgotten about that. Winston was hanging out on the roof for some reason and Schmidt was scared to go up right?

He didn't say TBBT was the most familiar comedy in sitcom history, he said the apartment doors are. And although yes, the doors in Seinfeld and Friends were shown fairly regularly they weren't nearly as significant. I can barely remember what the space between apartments in either show looked like.

I know you said the list isn't a "best of" but I was still really happy to see “The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis”. I liked BBT before that episode but always felt it turned a corner and got even better. Then of course came the girls and the show turned into something really special.

Nick's new "old lady" also.

I imagine his dad's willingness to let him run loose and supply him with booze and hookers would have gone a long way to adding to his cool factor.

Loved the episode but yeah, the Schmidt stuff was crap. Every second of it was annoying.

I really miss Better Off Ted. Anyone who hasn't watched that yet is depriving themselves.

ah man. now I wish I hadn't asked.

That boggles the mind.

Has there ever been another show that fell so far from the promise of its pilot episode? Those first five minutes still kind of haunt me.

Two things. One, I love reading any review that gets an F.
