Another key outsider musician: Charles Manson. Not for everyone, obviously.

The crew of Voyager gets home after their long voyage. Then the alien sends them back to the Delta quadrant, just to be a dick. The show follows the crew slowly descending into madness and despair.
These are two different scales of shittiness. The reboots might have been mediocre (and forgettable), but they didn't make me ANGRY with their shittiness, like the later TV shows did.
That might be a good development (less lazy fan-wank, like mirror universe episodes)…or a bad one (flushing continuity down the toilet).
Odon't.

Winners never quit, and quitters never win.
I watched all of Voyager AND Enterprise…maybe I'm just talking about myself, then.
Being a Star Trek fan means having a very high tolerance for shitty Star
Trek, so…we're all going to watch it, no matter how much it sucks. But it might be good!
Stopped by a Tool-related thread just to tell us that Tool sucks, and we suck for liking them. Okay…thanks, buddy! Stay classy.
I was being a smart-ass, but my statement isn't even that much of an exaggeration. If their beliefs are extremely ugly, blame them for being ugly, not me for noticing the ugliness.
He looks very organizized.
Republicans hate the idea that government might be used to help people. On the other hand, government is a wonderful thing when used to punish and kill people.
I have no idea what any of this is supposed to mean. Perhaps, that Clara becomes a really interesting character after one has digested a bunch of essays about her, which explain better what you were trying to say earlier? Oy vey.
You've pointed to a few instances where stories or the word "story" come out of Clara's mouth, but you haven't convinced me that this is even the slightest bit meaningful. Have you sought out every other case where a Doctor Who character says "story," or tells a story, and compared those cases to Clara's usage? …
(I couldn't remember if it was tiny Doctor/normal cat, or normal Doctor/giant cat.)
I guess that's one way of making Clara a more interesting character: just make things up about her.
Mine are about 80% observations on the latest Doctor Who episode, and 20% pedantically arguing with people on low-stakes topics.
Let's see…I've made 1,800 comments, and I've been commenting for about 6 years, maybe. So, I'll reach 50,000 comments in about 161 years.
"Pretending to have it together" = "resorts to bluster and bluffing" = "lots of faking it" = the same thing!
