I don't follow the NBA much, but I know from Space Jam that you need a token uber-tall guy and a token uber-short guy.

Probably the record for a celebrity game, but not the record for Jeopardy. Ken Jennings hit $75K once and I'm pretty sure someone beat even that a year or two ago.

Just for the record, Nickelback is definitely worse. While both bands have/had terrible lyrics and singers, at least Creed had a competent backing band.

I think in their heads was the thought that they had to go back somewhat far. The question semi-implies that it wasn't recently, and Clinton was only two presidents ago.

Dex Dogtective is one of the greatest character names in cinema history.

I presume they have some sort of laser-guided sock weapons, just like that one ATHF episode.

I just got all excited about The Returned annnnnnd…don't get Sundance Channel. Bollocks.

As a Red Sox fan, I agree. I mean, it's great for the people that were actually at Fenway last night, but we Red Sox fans don't even give a damn about the forced Fox 'storyline' of 'not winning at Fenway in 95 years'. Why couldn't the storyline be going from 93 losses to 97 wins and the title? Or just the two best

I'm already seeing people get nostalgic over the nu-metal shit of the early 2000's. Nostalgia definitely has very little to do with quality.

Well, he did specify "shooting"…

I was also amused by how awful Dan's impersonation was compared to Elliot's.

Movies don't stick with me very often, whether I like them or not.  This one has stuck and been bouncing around in head.

Agreed.

I also had the same thought too.  I can't see how it could possibly be a coincidence, but it seems like a weird thing to just slip in there.

Silent Lucidity is a decent song, but it's nowhere near Eyes of a Stranger, Speak, I Don't Believe In Love, Revolution Calling…etc.

I live in a state where the entire population is only 1.3 million.  (As a relevant side note, it's the state where Walter White had to move to last episode.) I think that means my entire state is a small town.

It's amazing how much better Operation: Mindcrime is than the rest of Queensryche's music.

I mean, Landry did kill that one guy on FNL also…although most of us like to pretend that storyline never happened.

Yay, Colbert finally won Variety Series.  I think it's the first time, anyway.

Yeah, I loved that movie when I was a teenager…not so much now.  Dafoe's performance is the only redeeming factor left in that movie for me.
