I played it all the way through, just to see how shitty it got. Spoiler: very

If you want to try some of the harsher stuff, check out something like Genocide Organ (the later stuff is a bit more accessible, and available on Spotify), and maybe Haus Arafna. It does get pretty murky from there on out, as the themes often get pretty dark and/or controversial.

I saw this movie last week, and I have to say that everything that happened in the movie made *way* more sense to me after reading the plot synopsis in Wikipedia. That being said, the visuals and sounds are excellent, and make this movie worth seeing. This movie's super tense, all the time.

Everyone's basically a goddamn mute, except Kristin Scott Thomas.

I found that weird after starting listening to WHM after listening to The Flop House for a long time. Took me a while to get into WHM, since I first thought "hey, these guys are just describing the ENTIRE PLOT OF THE MOVIE, with a few jokes strewn in", but hey, now I like both 'casts!

The Windows 8 logo was quite visible in the beginning, and I know as an owner of an actual Surface tablet that it's not actually quite that visible.

Yeah. "How Did This Get Made?" is apparently regular, but no Flop House? WHAT IS UP WITH THAT MY FRIENDS

Zena Kitt is credited as the vocalist on the old releases, whereas it's Adeline Michele on the album.

I kinda think that the re-recordings of the old songs with the new singer aren't as good as the old ones. Not that she's bad either, but I really preferred the old singles.

I love the puns. I could live without the Congressman's Penis. (that feels weird to write)

Michaelangelo Matos sometimes writes over at residentadvisor.net too, if that's your cup of tea.

@George Liquor: Steve Vai only played guitar in Halo 2 and the trailer for Halo 3. I'm not 100% sure but I don't think there was any of that "wailing guitar" stuff in Halo 1, 3 or ODST.

Me gusta.

Well this is unexpected
Wouldn't have expected to see a Kompakt review here. Good stuff, just like the compilation itself. It's interesting how some people always whine about Kompakt being left behind in the fast-moving world of dance music or something, but they still keep releasing some of the most interesting music

And if all else fails, check out the latest free compilation by Angel Alanis, if only for the super rad O'Jays edit: http://angelalanis.bandcamp…
